play. Time slots during popular TV shows are more expensive
than those during less popular shows. The area in which
your commercial plays may be national, regional or local.
National commercials play across the country, are the
most expensive and are thus generally reserved for the
largest of companies. Regional commercials play in one
area of the country. Local commercials play only in
local areas, and if it's playing on cable television,
the cost is usually within reach of even the smallest
local business.
